Hosting Your Event at Triton Villa in Turks and Caicos

When you’re planning an event in the Turks and Caicos, be it a wedding, family reunion or corporate event, one of the most critical aspects of planning is finding the right venue. There are plenty of factors to consider, from space and privacy, to music and catering. And at Triton, we have all the bases covered so you can host an event your guests will rave about for years to come.

When it comes to events on the beach, unwanted spectators can become an issue—particularly on certain areas of Grace Bay Beach. But with its prime location on the southern shore of Providenciales, Long Bay Beach offers the privacy and seclusion that guarantees you won’t have unexpected bystanders hanging around.

Beyond the beach, Triton offers a variety of areas throughout the villa property to host your event—including two beachfront decks, pool decks and a sunset garden area. Sliding glass doors throughout the villa make it possible to connect the indoor area with the outdoors, creating a seamless space that can accommodate up to 50 guests. If you’re trying to play a movie or a slideshow (baby photos of the bride and groom, anyone?), you and your guests can cozy around the firepit and use the outdoor cinema.

You can’t have a great party without high-quality catering that can accommodate a variety of food preferences and dietary needs. With private chef services, Triton’s chef will handle the catering from menu planning to execution. And to help during your meal service or reception, Triton’s butler’s and support staff are eager to assist.

So you have space, privacy and catering taken care of. But we’re forgetting one thing that’s critical to your event’s mood and atmosphere: The music. Whether you choose to have a band, DJ or solo musician we will place you in touch with the best Destination Management Companes and Wedding Planners to bring your vision together. If you choose to use your own music, Triton has a top-of-the-line wireless sound system throughout the villa with full streaming capabilities. With the press of a button, you can control the music from wherever you are on the property, so you don’t have to run room to room to change the song or control the sound.

Whatever your needs may be for your Turks and Caicos wedding or event, there’s nothing we haven’t thought of. Get in touch to start planning your event at Triton Luxury Villa on Long Bay Beach.

Standup Paddleboarding in the Turks and Caicos

Sometimes less is more. And one of the fastest growing watersports in the Turks and Caicos is an activity that requires no more than a board and a paddle.

Standup paddleboarding (also known as SUP) is a relatively easy sport to pick up, and it’s also the perfect way to immerse yourself in nature on Providenciales. Calm, windless days are the ideal time to try standup paddleboarding, which above all else is a test of balance and strength.

So what’s the the hype with standup paddleboarding? No doubt one of the sport’s biggest draws is its higher vantage point, which allows you to get a better view of the sea life below. You’re bound to see a variety of critters particularly if you’re paddling around the mangroves, which is a sanctuary for juvenile marine life. Keep your eyes peeled for bonefish, pufferfish, lemon sharks, sea turtles and more as you paddle through the mangroves. Above water, a variety of bird life thrives, from pelicans to the island’s many types of herons.

Beyond the opportunity it offers to get up close to marine life, standup paddleboarding also happens to be a great cardio workout. You use almost every one of your muscles at some point while paddleboarding. Standing and balancing on the board requires leg and core strength, while paddling works out your arms, shoulders and back.

New to paddleboarding? No problem. It’s a low-impact, easy-to-learn sport that requires just a little bit of practice before you embark on an excursion. And that’s one of the activity’s greatest appeals—it’s accessible to almost everyone.

Here’s some more good news: You don’t even have to leave your villa for your standup paddleboarding experience. At Triton, we provide paddleboards so you can get out and explore the waters of Long Bay Beach.

Enjoy Peace and Quiet in Turks and Caicos Private Luxury Villa

For those seeking a quiet, uncrowded beach, look no futher. Most of the kiteboarding on Long Bay Beach is contained in a small area of the beach far enough from Triton that you can see kiters from a distance. Don’t forget, Long Bay Beach is three miles long.

Walk a little ways to the right, and chances are you won’t find another soul around. And who doesn’t love having a beautiful, pristine beach all to themselves?

Bring the kids

The water depth in Long Bay makes it the perfect place for families and children in particular. Depths range from two to four feet. And its location along the southern shore protects the beach from the larger ocean swells often found on the north shore.

The consistent tradewinds also provide a reprieve from the year-round warm temperatures of the Turks and Caicos.

Have our chef prepare and pack a picnic for you to bring to the many secluded spots on the beach—or take the kids to watch the kiteboarders in action as they glide along the ocean surface, their colorful kites flying high above.

Why Long Bay Beach is One of the Best Beaches in the Turks and Caicos

When you think of the Turks and Caicos, chances are you think of Grace Bay Beach—and with good reason. With its three miles of powdery white sand and clear, turquoise ocean, it’s no wonder it’s consistently ranked one of the top beaches in the world. But the secret’s out. And here on the little island of Providenciales, there are actually a number of gorgeous beaches waiting to be explored. One beach that we think gives Grace Bay a run for its money: Long Bay Beach.

Also three miles long, Long Bay Beach is located on the southern shore of Providenciales (or Provo, as locals call it). Long Bay lacks the retail development of Grace Bay, although word is slowly getting out. Its calm, shallow—and yes, strikingly blue—water makes it the ideal beach for a number of people, whether you want to try kiteboarding or simply stroll the shore in search of conch shells.
